Black Friday goes Green

When is Black Friday 2026?

Mark your calendar: Black Friday 2026 is on Friday, 27 November 2026. The date moves every year because it follows US Thanksgiving, which is always the fourth Thursday of November. In the UK, it has grown into the unofficial start of the Christmas shopping season, and it's when plenty of us upgrade a tired mobile or a slow laptop.

Black Friday, but make it green

At refurbed, we call it Green Friday. Why? Because a smart price and a more sustainable choice can be the same decision. Refurbished means a device has been professionally checked, cleaned and reconditioned. It works flawlessly and is hardly distinguishable from new. Choosing refurbished keeps a device in use for longer and cuts the demand for new resources, so it's the more sustainable alternative compared to buying new.

Black Friday iPhone deals, the refurbished way

Searching for the best iPhone deals this Black Friday? For the smarter Friday deal, compare new with refurbished. A refurbished iPhone gives you the features you want for up to 40% less than new, from recent models with the latest cameras to dependable older ones that do everything you need. Every phone is backed by a minimum 12-month warranty, so there's no gamble involved.

Laptop and MacBook deals worth the wait

If your laptop takes ages to start up, Black Friday is a good moment to replace it. A refurbished MacBook Air is light enough for the commute, while a MacBook Pro handles creative work with ease. Rather stick with Windows? Choose from refurbished laptops by Lenovo, HP and Dell, set up and ready for work, uni or Netflix on the sofa.

iPad and tablet deals for the whole family

A tablet makes a great Christmas gift, and refurbished makes it easier on the budget. Go for a refurbished iPad for homework and streaming, an iPad Air for sketching, or an iPad Pro if you want laptop-level power. Android tablets are available too. Whatever you choose, the condition grade (Good, Very good or Excellent) only describes how it looks, never how it works.
