Singles Day: Love at first price

What is Singles Day?

Singles Day is an annual shopping event held on 11 November, a date chosen for its four ones (11.11). It began in China in the 1990s, when students marked being single with a bit of self-celebration. Today it's one of the biggest online shopping days in the world, and more and more UK shoppers are joining in.

When is Singles Day 2026?

Singles Day 2026 is on Wednesday, 11 November. It lands just over two weeks before Black Friday (27 November 2026), which makes it a good moment to get ahead on your tech wish list or pick up an early Christmas present.

What does refurbished mean?

A refurbished device has been professionally checked, cleaned and reconditioned. It works flawlessly and is hardly distinguishable from new. Every product on refurbed comes with a minimum 12-month warranty, and you save up to 40% compared to buying new. Our condition grades (Good, Very Good and Excellent) describe cosmetic condition only, never performance.

Top Singles Day picks

Fancy a new mobile? A refurbished iPhone or Samsung Galaxy gives you flagship performance at a more affordable price. If you need a laptop for uni, the office or working from home, take a look at refurbished MacBooks and Windows laptops, ready to use straight out of the box. There are also tablets, smartwatches, headphones and games consoles. Whatever's on your list, you'll find top deals this Singles Day.

Better for your wallet, better for the planet

Buying refurbished keeps devices in use for longer and cuts the demand for new resources. It's the more sustainable alternative compared to buying new, and you don't have to compromise on quality. You're making the world a better place, one device at a time. That's Rethink New.

Taken? Treat someone special

Singles Day isn't just for singles. Spoil yourself, surprise a mate or finally swap that phone with the cracked screen. At refurbed, quality tech comes at a fair price, whatever your relationship status. And because every device is professionally refurbished, you can shop with confidence.
