This is a PRS SE Angelus A60E electro-acoustic guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in China in 2024, this guitar features set-neck construction comprising a Solid Sitka Spruce top, Ziricote back and sides with Curly Maple binding, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. This instrument is fitted with Chrome PRS sealed tuning machines, Bone saddle and nut and a PRS voiced Fishman Sonitone undersaddle piezo pickup. This is wired to discreetly soundhole mounted master volume and tone controls
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Wide Fat’ profile offering ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the register. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and with its 11.81” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface that makes bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst also catering for both bold chordal work and subtle fingerstyle playing. The body shape fills the arms nicely, providing a lively and responsive playing experience with a sound that can really be felt, whilst the cutaway offers unobstructed access to the higher register.
The voice of the PRS Angelus A60E is clear and direct, with a warm rounded low end, tight mids and a crisp articulate top end, all without sounding overly bright. This guitar features a PRS Hybrid “X” Classical Bracing design which results in more flexibility for the top to resonate, delivering more volume and a more defined, full tone. The PRS Voiced Fishman Sonitone pickup captures the natural voice of the instrument perfectly, whilst offering hassle free tone adjustments with the soundhole mounted controls. Overall a stunning looking guitar in both looks and sound.
