Eastman T146SM Gloss Classic Thinline Archtop Electric Guitar

This is an Eastman T146SM Thinline Archtop Electric Guitar in Gloss Classic finish. Made in China, this set-neck construction guitar features a Truetone Gloss Flamed Maple body with Solid Spruce top and Maple neck, along with a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include an adjustable Ebony bridge, Gotoh SG301-20GG tuners, and Medium Jumbo Jecar 47104-P frets. The pickup installed is a Lollar Custom Wound Imperial Humbucker. This is wired to volume and tone controls.

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Traditional Even “C” profile feeling very familiar and easy to get on with. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck ensures that navigation of the 25” scale is an effortless affair, whilst the Ebony fingerboard provides a pleasant and luxurious surface for the fingers. The 12” fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The smooth lines of the body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, whilst the semi-hollow construction keeps the weight down and produces a resonant and lively playing experience.

The guitar resonates beautifully, filling out the sound with a deep and rich character. The Lollar custom wound pickup is warm and round, and can handle plenty of gain meaning you can achieve anything from jazzy lines through to soaring rock and blues solo tones. The traditional control layout feels very responsive, allowing you to explore a wide tonal palette right on the instrument.
