This is a Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay in Vintage Sunburst. Made in the USA in 1991 this electric bass guitar features an Ash body, Birds Eye Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Hipshot Drop D tuning machine and MusicMan Chrome Plated bridge with adjustable mute pads. An aftermarket Nordstrand MM4.2 dual coil has been fitted and is wired to a master volume and 3-band EQ.

The Birds Eye Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a moderately-sized ‘C’ shape which sits comfortably in the hand and provides a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and comfortable playing surface, along with the 1.68” nut width which allows for different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with slick navigation of the 34” scale, and along with the generous cutaways ensures that access to the upper frets is a breeze.
