ESP LTD Eclipse Custom 1987 Reissue Rainbow Crackle 2023 Electric Guitar

This is a LTD Eclipse Custom 1987 Reissue in Rainbow Crackle finish. Crafted in Korea in 2023, this guitar features a neck-thru construction comprising a Mahogany body, 3-piece Maple neck and 24 Makassar Ebony fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Black Nickel hardware including 6-saddle string-thru-body hardtail bridge and LTD Locking tuning machines. The pickups are a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers with a ‘59 in the neck and a JB in the bridge.. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone with a push/pull coil split.

The Maple neck plays very well, with the Thin ‘U’ profile feeling comfortable and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth glossy surface that is easy to navigate. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 14” radius, offers a flat and consistent playing experience right the way up the register. This is enhanced by the Jumbo frets which assist with bending and vibrato techniques. The thru-neck construction and neck heel provide fantastic access to the upper frets

The duo of humbuckers provide a rich variety of tonal opportunities. The neck position is warm and round, and offers crystal clarity with clean sounds. The bridge position is bright and snappy, with plenty of the bite required for rock lead tones, offering a harmonically saturated distortion that easily cuts through the mix. The addition of the coil split function on the tone control adds the opportunity for thinner, more traditional Telecaster sounds, cleaning up your sound right on the guitar.
