ESP LTD Michael Wilton Demon Signature Distressed Black/Demon Graphic Electric

This is an ESP LTD Michael Wilton Demon Signature electric guitar in Distressed Black with Demon Graphic finish. Made in China in 2010, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 X-Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo bridge and a set of ESP sealed tuning machines. A Duncan Designed SC-101 single coil is fitted in the neck position with a Seymour Duncan JB humbucking pickup in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls.

The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the Thin ‘U’ profile providing easy reach and razor sharp playability across the register. The profile offers a slightly flattened area to the centre rear which encourages ergonomic thumb positioning for fast lead lines and solos. The Maple fingerboard feels luxurious under the fingers, with the 13.7” radius ensuring comfort for chord playing and practicality for lead lines, with the Jumbo frets providing a rock solid and durable surface for string bending and vibrato techniques.

Amplified the pickups installed in this guitar make use of an HS configuration to deliver a comprehensive and versatile range of tones. There is a surprising amount of power and aggression to be found in the neck position, but as single-coils the pickup clean up nicely too. The Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge delivers thick, saturated tones that are sure to blast your rhythm playing and riffs to the front of the mix. The pickups do clean up nicely too for the quieter moments in the set sounding particularly shimmery and clear. The controls are kept simple, allowing you to focus on your playing.
