Fender American Series Jazz Bass Black 2007 Electric Bass

This is a Fender American Series Jazz Bass in Black Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2007, this bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 4-Saddle Strings-Thru-Body bridge, Fender Open-Gear Die-Cast tuners, and a set of upgraded American Vintage Jazz Bass single coil pickups. These pickups are wired to a neck volume (S-1 push/push series parallel), bridge volume, and a master tone control.

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 9.5” radius and Medium jumbo frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The double cutaway and contoured body design allows the player unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience.

The upgraded Fender American Vintage Jazz Bass pickups deliver classic original-era tone and power, with a hotter output for unmistakable punch and midrange growl. Built with alnico 5 magnets for true vintage tone, the pickups deliver deep, warm and rounded low ends that work well with the clear, precise mids and glistening trebles. There is plenty of grunt on offer, with a fast attack that will keep your playing front and centre.
