Fender Ltd Ed American Performer Timber Telecaster 2-Colour Sunburst 2024 Guitar

This is a Fender Limited Edition American Performer Timber Telecaster Electric Guitar in 2-Colour Sunburst. Made in the USA in 2024, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Pine body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Nickel/Chrome hardware, with 3-Brass Saddle Vintage-Style string-through-body bridge and Fender ClassicGear tuning machines. This guitar is equipped with two Yosemite Single Coil Telecaster pickups. These are wired to a Master Volume, Master Tone and a 3-way blade switch.

The Maple neck plays well, with Fender’s popular Modern ‘C’ profile feeling comfortable in the hand and offering comfortable playability in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a durable playing surface, and with its 9.5” radius strikes a nice balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The familiar lines of the Telecaster body feel as great in the arms as ever, and provide a comfortable playing experience in both standing or seated positions.

The pickups in this guitar provide a versatile selection of tones, each one being authentically ‘Tele’ whilst adding some added kick when required. The Yosemite single coil pickup in the bridge position delivers all of the chime and bell like tone the Telecaster is revered for, perfect for country and blues. There is plenty of roundness and warmth in the neck position, with a smooth midrange and defined top end that provides plenty of thickness and clarity for your solo tones. The unobtrusive controls are nicely responsive, allowing you to sculpt your sound easily on the guitar without getting in the way of your playing.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard

Body: Overall very good condition, a small indentation can be identified to the front face near the bridge, piercing the finish slightly. The bass side waist demonstrates light scratching causing a slight glossiness of the finish. This can also be identified to the rear face consistent with buckle rash.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8” hex) included.

Hardware: Excellent condition. The original saddles have been replaced for Callaham Compensated Saddles, originals not included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.75mm - Bass 2mm
