Gibson Les Paul Robot the first generation, produced in 2006 in the US. This is the original Robot Guitar Gen 1 – Gibson’s first pioneering approach to automatic tuning, even before the Dark Fire era, Dusk Tiger or G-Force. This is a classic Les Paul with a pre-mounted Gibson Robot Tuning System (Gen 1) , controlled with a knob at the potentiometer. The guitar retains the traditional feeling and sound of Les Paul – the tuning system is an addition and does not adversely affect the resonance or the basic characteristics of the instrument. The body is made of mahogany, with classic Tune-O-Matic + stopbar accessories. Mahogany griffin, glued, with rosewood fingerboard and trapezoidal incrustations. Profile of the comfort comb, closer to classic Gibson than modern, thin profiles.
