Gibson Les Paul Studio Satin Cherry 2004 Electric Guitar

This is a Gibson Les Paul Studio in Satin Cherry finish. Made in the USA in 2004 this guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Gibson Deluxe tuning machines, TOM bridge and stopbar tail piece. A pair of Gibson ProBuckers are fitted and wired to a 3-way pickup selector as well as independent volume and tone controls.

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the profile resembling a ‘D’ shape filling the hand without feeling too cumbersome, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines.

The Gibson Probucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Probucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.
