The 1981 Greco MSV-850, produced at the Fujigen factory in Japan as part of the legendary Super Real series. MSV-850 is one of the most recognizable Japanese guitars in the 1980s - the signature of Michael Schenker, a UFO guitarist and The Scorpions, made by Fujigen based on accurate measurements of the artist’s original instrument. The distinctive two-colour finish - black and white body, pickguard and head - is a direct representation of the guitar with which Schenker has enrolled in hard rock history. The copy comes from 1981, a period considered to be the top of the production of the Super Real series - before the introduction of computer controlled milling machines, when each instrument came out of the hands of Japanese solders with exceptional attention to detail. Serial number G816403 confirms Fujigen production in 1981.
