Hofner 457 Archtop Guitar 1952 - Description
1952 / 1953 Höfner 457 in excellent condition.
All original. Very pretty. Plays well with low action. Solid spruce top with a very strong arch. There is some playwear, but no mayor repair or similar. Typical for the very early 1950s models is the multi-layer purfling to the top and back of the body. Also the flared headstock.
The only downside is that someone glued down the bridge in the wrong position in the past. It is now in the correct position.
