A unique copy of Ibanez 2630 Artist Semi-Hollow, produced by FujiGen Gakki in Japan in January 1977. The serial number A776975 clearly indicates January 1977 , the very beginning of production of the 2630 model – one of the most valued instruments in the history of the Ibanez brand. The 2630 model was in 1977 the flagship semi-hollow guitar of the Artist series and was the response of Ibanez to American premium class constructions. It was no longer a copy of Gibson, but the author’s Hoshino Gakki project, which combines the highest quality of FujiGen performance with its own technical solutions. Many collectors today consider the 1977–1979 Artist models to be one of the best made guitars ever left Japanese factories. The presented copy also stands out with a very interesting detail.
