This is a Jackson Solist SL3X DX Electric Guitar in Granite Crystal finish. Made in Indonesia in 2019, this guitar features a neck-thru construction comprising a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Laurel fingerboard. Other appointments include Jackson Sealed Die-Cast tuners, a Floyd Rose Special Double-Locking Tremolo system, a Floyd Rose Special Locking nut, an aftermarket Seymour Duncan Nazgul humbucker in the bridge & Duncan Designed HB-101 Hot Rails in the neck & middle positions. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls.

The ‘Speed Neck’ does what it says on the tin, with a slick gloss finish ‘U’ shape that feels thin and mostly flat in the hand, offering ergonomic thumb positioning, perfect for more technically demanding playing styles. Dual cutaways and a fully rolled neck heel offer unobstructed access right up to the 24th fret, with the jumbo fret wire feeling rock solid under the fingers. The Floyd Rose Special bridge is perfect for classic stunt guitar antics, all without staying in tune and feeling really robust.

Amplified, the trio of Seymour Duncan pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide range of full-bodied and heavy tones, perfect for a multitude of genres and playing styles. The Nazgul in the bridge produces a searing output which can easily drive your amp into a saturated distortion tone; great for rock and metal riffing and rhythm parts. The Duncan Designed HB-101 Hot Rails in the neck and middle provide plenty of tonal scope.
