This is a Sterling by Music Man L100D Luke Electric Guitar in Luke Blue finish. Made in Indonesia, this guitar consists of a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Locking tuners, a Vintage-style Tremolo, Chrome hardware, and a set of Sterling by Music Man HH humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a master volume (push/push volume boost), a master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector.

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Contoured V’ profile adjusting the hand for an ergonomic hold, whilst feeling slender and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Satin finish aids in effortless navigation up and down the neck, with the Rosewood fingerboard offering a pleasant surface under the fingers. The 12” radius and Narrow frets assist with vibrato techniques and assist with faster playing styles, whilst the double cutaway body design provides uninhibited access to the upper register.

Amplified, the Sterling by Music Man humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Sterling by Music Man humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output providing a great feel and clarity. The push/push volume boost provides the player with an extra push working great for solos or when you need to cut through the mix.
