Supro Silverwood Transparent Red 2019 Electric Guitar

This is a Supro Silverwood Electric Guitar in Transparent Red finish. Made in Indonesia in 2019, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-matic bridge, a Supro tailpiece, 3-on-a-plate Kluson-style tuners, and a set of upgraded Railhammer Hyper Vintage Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.

The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile resembling a ‘C’ sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing surface in all registers. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and provides a smooth and reliable playing surface, whilst the traditional 12” radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending which is assisted by the Medium Jumbo fret wire. The Silverwood body design aids in easy access to the higher frets whilst the contours offer a comfortable playing experience.

The upgraded Railhammer Hyper Vintage Humbucker pickups feature two exposed bar pole pieces under the bass strings, with individual round pole pieces for the treble strings. The result is a tone that is similar to a Railhammer Anvil Humbucker but fatter, with all of the low end, thick mids, and smooth treble you would expect from a high output, especially considering the bridge is wound an extra 15%! This is a very exciting and unique instrument that can cover a wide range of genres and sounds.
