VLC HWW 4600/E Domestic waterworks - Description

Water from a cistern, well or rain barrel, delivered at steady pressure around the house: the OBI Hauswasserwerk 1100 W HWW 4600/E is a jet pump with a pressure vessel that takes over your garden and household water supply. It starts and stops automatically as soon as you draw water. As a refurbished unit, it arrives with a Min 12-month warranty and a return window.

Key features

  • 1,100 W power, up to 4,600 l/h
  • Max. head 45 m, max. pressure 4.5 bar
  • Self-priming up to 8 m suction height
  • 20 l steel pressure vessel
  • Stainless steel pump head
  • Built-in pressure gauge and drain screw

Benefits in detail

Automation that thinks ahead. You open the tap, and the pump starts by itself. You close it, and the pump stops. That spares you the trip to the switch and keeps everyday routines relaxed. If you prefer to control it yourself, an on/off switch gives you manual operation.

A pressure vessel for calm running. The steel vessel holds 20 l with a pre-charge of 1.5 bar. It keeps water under pressure, so water is ready the moment you open the tap.

Versatile at home and outside. You irrigate the garden, supply toilets and connect washing machines. The water comes from cisterns, wells, tanks or rainwater. One pump, many jobs.

Power in reserve. With 1,100 W, 4,600 l/h and 4.5 bar, the pump supplies garden and household together. The 45 m head helps when your water source sits lower or your garden higher.

Built to last. The pump head is stainless steel. The gauge shows you the pressure at any time, and the drain screw lets you empty the system when needed.

Good for the planet. Using rainwater saves drinking water. On top of that: More sustainable vs new, because this water supply unit receives a second life.

A typical question from the garden

Can I use rainwater from my cistern in the garden with this unit?

Yes. You connect the suction line (recommended 25 mm or 1 inch, with a non-return valve) to your cistern and connect the outlet to your piping, at least 19 mm (¾ inch). The pump draws up to 8 m and delivers up to 45 m of head. As soon as you open a tap, it starts.

Technical highlights

  • Connections: G1 internal thread for suction and outlet
  • Max. particle size: 1.0 mm
  • Dimensions: 53 x 30 x 49 cm (H x W x D)
  • Weight: 10.8 kg
  • A pre-filter is available separately

A note on hoses: the connection is G1, so choose hoses to match the recommendations above. All refurbed products are inspected and prepared. You receive a Min 12-month warranty and can send the unit back within the return window if it does not fit.
