Warwick RockBass Corvette Trans Black 5-String Electric Bass

This is a Warwick RockBass Corvette 5-String Electric Bass in Trans Black finish, Made in China, this bass consists of an Ash body, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 4-saddle fully adjustable Warwick bridge and Warwick sealed tuning machines. A pair of MEC passive Dynamic Correction single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a master volume, blend control, and a 2-band EQ.

The Maple neck plays superbly well, with the Warwick neck profile feeling somewhat like a ‘C’ shape. The profile is fairly substantial, but with the slightly flattened area to the centre rear encouraging ergonomic thumb positioning, it’s easy to reach notes across the register. Paired with generous double-cutaway body design and sculpted neck heel, the full range of the instrument is easily accessible. The Rosewood of the fingerboard provides a tactile yet durable playing surface.

The Warwick sound is well known for its deep growl, and the tonewood selection helping to secure a reputation amongst players for a versatile yet distinct tone that will stand out from the crowd. There are of course plenty of deep, rumbling lows which will fill out the band mix, whilst the punchy mids and sparkling top end help to create a driving sound and sense of urgency by capturing the attack of your playing. The on-board controls offer comprehensive tonal opportunities whilst maintaining a simple and non-intrusive character on the playing experience.
